    3.5mm male to 2.5mm female replacement?


    Hey Guys.

    I've got a xbox one chat adapter like most of us and a few days ago the little 3.5mm to 2.5mm cord broke...

    Now instead of wasting alot of money on another xbox chat adapter that will break in another 5 months like my other one does anyone know where to buy a 3.5m to 2.5mm that will work on xbox live? I've gone on amazon and other sites but I'm not sure it will
    work..

    Hopefully one of you have had the same problem I have had and will link me to a website or somthing that works.

    What kind of cable are you looking for exactly 2.5mm female to 3.5mm male, or both male ends?

    Also does it need to be stereo or stereo and microphone?

    Yeah, I discovered that if I press the 2.5mm male into the 3.5mm female, the chat voice sounds a heck of a lot better. Are there better adapters out there?

    @watch7ower you seem to know your stuff, so I'm going to hijack this thread a little.

    I have the PX22 headset. I have the USB connector in my laptop (running Elgato so I can stream) and the 3.5mm connector in my controller. Laptop detects my voice fine but party chat doesn't work. I can hear them, they can't hear me.

    My inline amp output to two cables -- USB and 3.5mm male. Do I forgo using that 3.5mm male connector, and instead, buy a 3.5mm female to 2.5mm male, plus my headset into the 3.5mm female, and plus the 2.5mm male into the Controller port on my PX22's inline
    amp? I'm trying to get both PC and party chat to hear me.

    Need to replace headset adapter cable/cord

    just an FYI my cord got loose on the ends and started causing an echo. I bought one off the verizon website 3.5mm female to 2.5mm male and it worked fine.
