  1. 3.5 mm headphone jack not working at all

I bought a new special edition Xbox One controller in February that IS still under warranty. The 3.5 mm headphone jack has never worked on it. When I plug in my headset, it does not register as having a headset plugged in nor does it make any "feedback"
sound. I tested this by trying to send a voice message; it shows the microphone is active on all my other controllers (even ones that are broken in other ways), just not this controller. I have done headset troubleshooting and controller troubleshooting, there
is no option for my problem on either. I would really like for the controller to be repaired and returned to me, but I can't find any way to get any help on the Microsoft website other than being directed here.

To summarize, my controller that is still under warranty is not functioning properly and I would like it to be repaired. How can I do this? Please help!

    :)

    Hello
    WiredrawnFever4
    !

Thanks for reaching out to Xbox forums support.

I would suggest contacting an Xbox Live support agent by following the steps below. The agent would be able to look into your controller warranty and give you your repair / exchange options.

As provided above the best way to reach Live Support would be here:
    https://support.xbox.com/contact-us#0

    Step 1 ----Select Xbox One

Step 2 ----Select See other options

Step 3 ----Select topic (Ex. System Update)

Step 4 ----Select "Show contact options"

Step 5 ----Select request a call from support

Below I'll also provide a direct link for creating a manually creating Device repair order:

I hope this helps a bit more. Let us know!

Hi. Where did you get this headphone jack from? Do you know the manufacturer of it? Do you remember what store you bought it from? See if you find that info.

The 3.5 mm headphone jack is the hole that you plug headset into on the bottom left of the controller, it’s not something I added later. I bought the controller from Amazon, but it is a Microsoft product that still has the product warranty. I need to know
how to contact Microsoft about repairs.

    Headphones

If your headphones have a 3.5 mm jack and your controller supports it then simply plug the headphones into the hole in the front of the controller. If the controller does not have the jack then you'll need to purchase a headphone adapter for the controller.
