    3.5 jack xbox wireless controller

I bought xbox wireless adapter just for this issue, I have 2 xbox wireless series controller connected to laptop PC using the new wireless adapter, as previous bluetooth only cant deliver sounds to the 3.5 audio. now we want to use each controllers 3.5 audio for earphones when playing specially nightime, but then only one controller has the audio and the other one always cancelled out.

When I check the audio/sound setting, only one controller audio sound can enable. Now we use cable spliter to have both earphone connected to one xbox controller.

My question is there any way to work both controllers 3.5 audio hence we use both controller connected to 1 new wireless adapter, 1pc, 1 same game, single screen local coop game. Im I missing somthing?

Cable spliter makes it odd for the "wireless controller/ adapter"

    Thanks!

    :)

The jack of the Xbox controller

    Hey there Nic,

Was this part of a Console Bundle? Also when was this purchased? As mentioned in "Xbox One controller and headset compatibility"

"As of June 2015, new Xbox One Wireless Controllers will include a 3.5-mm port so users can connect a compatible 3.5-mm audio jack directly to the controller."

If your controller does not have the 3.5-mm audio jack then it is possible that it is an older model.

    I hope this helps.

Hello, I will need you to try those two methods to see if this will resolve your issue:

    • The first step would be to enable Stereo Mix. The first method of using two headsets simultaneously on Windows 10 is to enable Stereo Mix. It is disabled by default.
    • The second one would be playing Audio on Two Devices from Specific Apps. Another method to use 2 headphones on PC Windows 10 is to customize playback devices for certain software.

    Sandberg Headset issues....

The Xbox One does not support USB headsets, you need a headset that can plug in the 3.5 mm jack socket in the controller, or a wireless headset compatible with Xbox One.

    Random Controller Death. Please Assist.

    Hello Extr3m3Rogu3,

When you say "headset jack", do you mean that your Plantronics headset was plugged directly into the controller's 3.5-mm audio jack? If so, it is possible that something unintentionally got shorted when the 3.5-mm jack was accidentally pulled loose. But,
first, let me suggest you try a couple of things to see if we can get the controller up and running again, "Connect a wireless Xbox One controller to
    your console
" and "Xbox One Wireless Controller disconnects or can't connect" . Let us know if this helped.

    USB Mic for Xbox 1?

Unfortunatly xbox does not support usb headsets. All headsets need to be connected by 3.5 jack to the controller. The only exception to this is if you purchase a wireless headset and then the dongle connects to the USB.
