  2. I have two new portable USB Xbox Drives. One is a 500GB 2.0 USB and I have a 1 TB Portable hard drive 3.0 USB.

For USB 3.0 USB to I need USB 3.0 male to male or male 3.0 USB to regular female USB

USB 3 hub expansion for devices

    Hello SandTandpole7943,

There are some USB 3.0 Hubs for the Xbox One. You can use any USB 3.0 Hub that works on a computer for that matter.

An Xbox branded USB 3.0 Hub is the dreamGEAR Xbox One 3.0 USB Hub (although is not an Xbox nor Microsoft product).

If you want an attached-to-the-console 3.0 Hub; you can try the Collective Minds 2.5" Hard Drive Enclosure & 3 Front USB 3.0 Ports Media HUB - Xbox One that also lets you put an Internal Hard Drive inside of it.

Both can be bought on Amazon.

XBOX One Not recognizing External Hard Drive as USB 3.0

Sorry to hear you're having trouble with your drive. Where on the drive itself does it say that it is USB 3.0? All I can see is the powered USB hub listed as 3.0.

If the drive is not a 3.0 drive but is still plugged into a 3.0 hub then it will still not be recognized as a 3.0 drive.

If you bought the drive under the presumption that it was a USB 3.0 drive but it is not working as such then I would recommend contacting the seller to see about a refund or exchange
