    You will need to make sure any cable modem you get is supported by your provider. That way you won't have issues when trying to get it connected to your service. Netgear would be a good selection if they are supported by your provider. Not sure these
    days how particular the providers are but it is always good to find out.

    Xbox connected to internet but won't connect to XBOX live.

    Modem: Zoom Cable Modem 3.0/Model: 5341J

    Router: Linksys Wireless G 2.4Ghz/Model: WRTG54G V8

    I have 1 XBOX One connected to the router on wireless connection.

    Still no error codes. Test connection still comes back good to go.

    Happen to know what device they gave you? Over here, we get just a cable modem in most cases. We don't get integrated cable modem and router boxes. When I upgraded to 50Mbit, I had to be upgraded to a DOCSIS 3.0 model because DOCSIS 2.0 tops out at 38Mbit.
    In Europe, it tops out at 50Mbit, so you'd be in the same boat for 60Mbit.

    OK buddy, I have had similar problems with my Surfboard sb5210 MODEM. as it would drop the signal, I run a Di604 router. My solution was found to be the old MODEM the surfboard sb5210 is running on DOCIS 2.0 and the new router is running a DOCIS 3.0
    when i upgraded the MODEM to a CISCO PC3010 it would not talk to the router, the old DI604, as its running on the new DOCIS 3.0 (modem is) so I need to go buy a Router that has DOCIS 3.0. I think u are in the same boat, but need to get a MODEM that
    carries DOCIS 3.0 as your router does now and your modem does not...
