    I got banned from xbox live for telling people they are trash in the game destiny. I didn't know that was against the rules. I wanted to know when my ban will go away. On the enforcement page, it doesn't give me a date when the effect will go away. Can someone
    please help me figure out when it will go away

    Today i received an email that my account from permanently banned. I went onto the link that they posted and it turns out i got banned for soliciting etc. I submitted a case review and went looking for more information. Most suspensions/bans are 1,7, or 14 days and my type of suspension followed under that list but then it said something about if the action was egregious or excessive bans, it could lead to a permanent one. In my case i tried selling my og gamertag, the guy messaged me about it, i told him how much and what payment. He declined, i said ok, and then we didn't message again AND no personal info was transferred, so in my defense it was not egregious. I have only had 2 ENFORCEMENTS, a good reputation, and no consecutive or reappearing issues. I do not think that deserves a permanent ban from all my years of gaming and achievement i have earned. There is clearly a flaw in the system.

    He did have a previous suspension in 2015 and no, you could not get it reviewed back then. There was no option for xbox one accounts. I tried but there was no review system and when I spoke with support they said that was not possible yet. When I went to
    the reviews page itself it said it was not possible! So please dont tell me there was an option when there wasn't.

    I have sent a review for the permanent ban through however have serious doubts it will even be looked at or be approved.

    Why cant I even have the option to see what evidence MS has to even permanently ban my son from playing? The first post I saw in the forum was players admitting they send in false reports and people get permanently banned due to it.

    People invest a lot of time and money in these accounts and to have them taken away without due process is wrong on so many levels. It is theft!

    And to allow the account to get two months gold added to it AFTER the supposed date banned, what gives with that?

    Perm Ban

    The enforcement system has been having issues recently & telling people they are permanently banned when they only have a temp suspension.

    As the enforcement site isn't working properly you can't get any up to date details or appeal the ban/suspension.

    Support may be able to tell you the length of the suspension but that's it.

    Other than that it's just a case of keep checking & hope this gets fixed soon.

    Xbox Live Perma Ban

    There's no set number of suspensions that can lead to a permanent ban. You can receive a permanent ban without ever having received a suspension before.

    i was banned for literally no reason from xbox live is there no one i can contact about this false ban?

    its a perma suspension, apparently for cheating, if they could tell me what and how i cheated on an xbox packaged away id be happy
    There's no time limit on when you can be banned for something.You were most likely banned for something you did before your xbox was packaged away..

    Permanent bans are thoroughly investigated which takes time so the ban could be for something you did months ago.

    No. There's a glitch with the notification for suspensions that is telling everyone they're permanently suspended even though they're not.

    Although technically if you did something super bad you can be permanently banned without any previous bans.
