    2Wire (Modems/Gateways): Games that i download are not working.
    My xbox downloaded games are not loading and only the disk games work. What can I do?

    bought games, but can't download them

    What model is your router? I remember hearing a while back that a specific model of 2Wire router was literally incapable of downloading games on Demand. Everything else worked, just GoD wouldn't work.

    Can't connect to Xbox Live

    I am 100% sure. I have never had a 2Wire modem connect to xbox live. I know some things that are not on that list work fine. 2Wires in my experience do not work.

    I'd suggest most 2Wire routers. Sorry I don't remember how much it cost but mine works really well.

    Actually, the 2701HG-G is made by 2WIRE and is notorious for not working well with Xboxen.

    www.pcwintech.com/screenshots-2wire-2701hg-g-bell-firmware has screenshots of its control panel and you can use those screenshots to see if UPnP has been disabled.
    Bell technical support can also advise you of the UPnP status.
