2nd controller update Failed!

Discus and support 2nd controller update Failed! in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I was told to update my controller for the 2nd time two days ago.     2nd controller update Failed!


    I was told to update my controller for the 2nd time two days ago. After doing so, my headset did not work correctly and still does not work correctly. Now, my chat scroll is controlling my game volume. Since it is not loud enough, I have to use my game chat
    scroll as well and now, that causes an echo through my headset. Before the 2nd update, my headset was working fine and now after, it is not. I am being told by one agent that there will be another update coming out, yet he did not know when. This agent also
    failed to understand the logic behind the problem. If my headset was fine before the update why did it mess up after the update? Last time I checked, 1 plus 1 equals 2! Thanks for nothing Microsoft. Now, go ahead and delete this forum, because that's what

    2 controllers broke after update!

    Couple of weeks ago, an update for the xbox one controller came up, did it fine, then when it came up to do the 2nd controller update, it turnt the 2nd controller off and the controller will not come back on. Bought a new one, and its done exactly the same
    today.

    The update is fine with first controller, **** the 2nd in to update that and it turns off and will not come on. Its not the batteries as have tested them in the working controller. I have plugged it in to charge and no life in the controller what so ever.

    What the hell has happened?

    Please help.

    Controller will not turn on

    I tried to update controller the update failed the controller turned off and wont turn on any help. and yes batteries are good

    Sorry for the late respond.

    As part of the beta program things can naturally get buggy until the official release. It could be that since your last update didnt get finished it left the system unstable too.

    If you havent tried to power cycle the xbox, i would try that first and see if that does anything.

    Be careful updating controllers

    2nd thread I've seen today concerning a controller update bricking the controller.

    Out of warranty or no, MS should take full responsibility!

    The controller update bricked my controller.

    Similar problem guys.

    For months I have had a failing usb cable from the play and charge kit - Controller has to be held or placed at a certain angle for the orange light to stay on for me.

    First controller update was successful.

    Second controller update failed as the cable completely stopped working, I can't get the charge light to come on at all, even when used on the controller which was updated successfully, the other controller has been bricked by the failed update.
