2k24 MyPlayer build is Gone

Hello,

I was having Stuttering issues on 2k24 next gen, and I have tried everything to fix this. I have reset my internet, power cycled xbox, unplugged cords, internet is running at 500mbps, factory reset with keeping apps/games, and tried reinstalling 2k24. I deleted everything thinking the file was corrupted and when I went to install and go back in my MyPlayer build it is completely gone now. There's no file in there it just says create new file. I have contacted both Microsoft and 2k Dev with them both saying they can't recover builds. What are my options now? I got to play this 1 day lol. Am I just out 200 dollars on the VC I spent on my character?

Thank you for the help. The 2k devs are not willing to restore the vc or issue a refund at this time. I might try to see if I can dispute the charges somehow because this doesn't seem right at all.

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with your MyPlayer build on NBA 2K24. I understand how frustrating it can be to lose progress on a game that you've invested time and money into.

Based on the troubleshooting steps you've already taken, it seems like you've done everything you can to try and recover your MyPlayer build. Unfortunately, if both Microsoft and 2K Dev have stated that they can't recover your build, there may not be any other options available to you at this time.

However, I would recommend trying a few more things just to be sure. First, make sure that you're signed in to the correct Xbox Live account that you used to create your MyPlayer build. If you're signed in to a different account, you won't be able to access your build.

Next, try clearing the cache on your Xbox One X. To do this, follow these steps:

1. Press and hold the power button on the front of the Xbox One X until it turns off completely.

2. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console.

3. Wait at least 10 seconds, then plug the power cord back in.

4. Press the power button on the front of the console to turn it back on.

Once your Xbox One X has restarted, try launching NBA 2K24 again and see if your MyPlayer build is still missing. If it is, unfortunately, it may be lost for good.

Regarding the VC you spent on your character, I would recommend reaching out to 2K Support to see if they can offer any assistance. They may be able to refund your VC or provide you with some other form of compensation.
