2k20 taking forever to install on new xbox

Its my first time using xbox. I just bought an xbox One s and nba 2k20 game disc. I started installing the game after putting the disc in. It has been ten hours and the game is only on 27%.

it jumps from 1.47 mbps to 7 mbps, and then from 500 kbps to 1000 kbps.

is there anything i can do to speed this up? Surely this is not a normal downloading time

Hi,

make sure you have closed all apps on the xbox as this will speed up the download speed alot

unfortunately that hasnt worked either. The game is at 28%. Nobody else was on the internet for several hours since i let it download overnight

How do I close all the apps on the xbox?

Hello. Does that mean i should pause the installation and then resume before reconnecting. Or do i have to cancel the whole thing, disconnect, and install it all over again?

Have you tried installing the game while your console is offline? This should speed up the installation.

Once done, connect your console back to the interwebs
