2fa on for fortnite not working.

Hi, can someone save me from the pain of enabling fortnite 2fa.

Summary:

XBOX Live account has 2fa enabled.

EPIC games account has 2fa enabled.

XBOX one X console has fortnite installed been playing for many seasons.

When I go to try and to say I have enabled 2fa it does not work on xbox one x console / fortnite game. It just says I've enabled 2fa screen all the time?

I tried to link my xbox live account to my epic account and it says it is already linked?

I have tried to get this to work off of a PC web browsers and logining into xbox live and epic. I have tried on the xbox console as well with edge (Piece of junk with a controller).

The 2fa is working as I am getting codes that are sent to me via email that are required to be entered on new devices.

I have watched some internet videos and read through blogs and it is a nightmare. Does someone know what to do on this? Do I need to link the accounts to get this to actual work and if so how do I link them if it says it is already linked.

Any help appreciated.

Its whenever I try 2fa it says the same thing over and over again .

I know this is normal but its saying that it sent a email to the gmail account associated with your epic.

When it says that I don't know what gmail account that is.

I tried my xbox account because that is the one i'm using for my epic and its not working.

We understand that you are currently experiencing difficulties with configuring 2FA on your account.

In reguards to this matter, and considering the amount of steps you've attempted to get this resolved, I would recommend that you reach out to

Epic Games support as they would be much better equipped in order to formally assist you with getting this resolved.

We here on the Xbox Forums, do not have the tools necessary to properly assist you in this matter.

From what I can gather it seems like the 2fa are conflicting with each other and the result is that neither aren't working very well. One possible solution might be to unlink your microsoft account from your epic games account, but before you do that take

I play fortnite on xbox cloud gaming and I enable 2fa on epic games but if . I am on fortnite it says I have not enabled 2fa on fortnite . What should I do ?
