Xbox Live Gold 2 Days Trial does not work

2day trials would only be limited to certain games usually the one it came with

And non ranked matches or party chat

If you are trying destiny it won't work since the whole game is ranked and you can't party

so I got my Xbox one and i activated my 14 day trial and it won't let me join into a party. I'm so confused can somebody help??

depends on the game

If it's ones like destiny no it won't work as you need actual gold

48hour trials only work on certain games and certain modes

It doesn't give you real gold access

I've been trying to redeem a 48hr trial code but it won't let me join any parties or anything like that it just says "You need xbox gold for this"

Also, it lets me see who is in parties, but won't let me join open parties.

I am having the same problem right now where it won't even let me join party or accept invitations. whats more annoying it won't let me join games that my friends create. they cannot join games i create either. I believe it has to do with me updating because
it took me three times to download the update. even then the first two times kept displaying an error. i just want to play games online is that too much to ask?
