25 Indie Games Launching Soon On Xbox One

The N7 Ghost mentality that indie games aren't worth anyones time and then the people like you that aren't willing to take the time to educate themselves on the indie titles is why the One will remain lacking in that area.

The majority of indie games are on the PC first, they get picked up and ported to the consoles. That's about as "pertinent" as it can get. What's on the PC now will be on the console tomorrow, the list of 25 games and the games on the other guys console
should make that abundantly clear.

 

I'm fine with that list....I got only one life and won't be able to play (or would enjoy ) every game created.

Since 1977,i played a lot of games but not all and didn't own every gaming machine.

Must be hard to hear for some people but true.

Also like Burst Axe said,check Project Spark,some great games has been made over there.

 

I would like to get some trials of games like they did with XBLA. Luckily we can just watch other peoples Upload clips to get a better idea of what the games are like.

 

Project Spark has a bunch of decent games on it making the quantity argument moot tbh.

 

Cinema Blend is a horrible website. Stop linking to it and giving them hits! There are far better sources than that.

 

Good to see games coming, slightly off topic, on the right hand side of the OPs' link, there a link for Assassins Creed The Honest Trailer, watch it LOL.

 

I know the article in link says most of these games are upon us but is there official release dates for each/any title?

 

I was interested in Calibre 10 Racing, after looking on-line it could be the fall before it hits Xbox One, and it's teams of two, so I doubt I'll get it, I want to race and shoot, not race or shoot, but it's good to see games coming.

There are probably about 10 games on the list that could be released anytime now. They have been out on the PC for in some cases a year or more and are being released as "special editions" that I'll assume means with bundled DLC.

Others are still in alpha and beta stages so they could still be a year or more off. Some of them have virtually no information available about them.

"Forced" (co-op action rpg) is my favorite out of the bunch and has been on the PC since Oct. Guacamelee is an excellent game and has been out since last summer. CastleStorm is already out on last gen systems.

 

Just watched a few videos for Riptide GP2, Wave Race anyone ? I think Riptide looks good, maybe a certain buy for me.

That could be out anytime now too. It was originally an android app and they updated the graphics and gameplay for the PC release.

Seems to get decent reviews, only complaints seem to be about broken multiplayer but that shouldn't be an issue on the console. I haven't tried it.

 

Thanks Randver, I have my eye on that and as I mentioned, Calibre 10, I'll need more research on that one.

"Forced" does sound good aswell, love co-op type games.
