24 hr ban because of a toxic guy and I can't contest it?

So I had a toxic person in a game of Overwatch harassing me verbally using racist and sexist language the entire time while I didn't have my mic in.

After the match during the final screens before it backed out it became worse.I was upset and responded to him in anger (I get that I shouldn't but I told him I don't heal toxic **** who talk **** the entire game).

While I was in the process of reporting him both in game AND on console; he responded and told me that I'd get a chat ban for my language in the message.

I didn't think it would happen because I've literally never had any complaints against me as far as I'm aware in my four years with Xbox.

Woke up today and have a 24 hour ban on my account which means I can't communicate with my teammates in any way to let them know that I can't talk to them in game during this time.

I have followed every possible link to try and have it reviewed and I have literally no way to have recorded what he was saying in game but his report is honored while I have to sit here and deal?

I acknowledge that I shouldn't have responded in anger but his language was foul af.

I'm mostly just annoyed at this point because I can't contest it in any way or submit a claim to have it reviewed.

Shouldn't my report which was put in before his be taken into account as well or is it just because he took a screenshot and is playing victim?

My side of a ban

I got a 24 hr communication ban on Xbox. An can’t tell my side of the case. Where an how can I do this. I don’t think it is fair of Xbox to ban me in any since with out hearing my side off what happen. Just because someone is not happy with me in there eye.
Xbox ban my with out any chance to give my side how can this happen. Can any just complain an get people banned for 24 hr

 

Can't communicate in party chat

Hi, I've recently received a temporary 24 hr communication ban. The ban time is now lifted, but when I send messages my friends aren't receiving them, I'm able to receive messages. Also I can join parties but can't hear my friends and they can't hear me.

The enforcement team investigates every complaint they receive. So if you filed one on him, it will be looked at too and if he hasn't already, they will take appropriate actions.

24 hour suspensions are not eligible for a review because the review would take longer than the suspension.
