220v Power Brick

    220v Power Brick


    Moving to Hungary tomorrow, and was told I need to get a converter or 220v power brick for my XB1 to work over there. Where do I go about buying one of those? Do I have to order it online? Do stores like best buy sell them over in the states? Last minute
    I know but I just found out. Thanks.

    power supply shift 110 to 220

    I bought my XBOX360 at US with the standard 110V power brick. I am now in a region that has 220V outlets. Is the XBOX360 console I bought originally with 110V power brick compatible with a 220V power brick, if I decide to switch?

    US imported Xbox One in France, power supply, transformer ok ?

    Hello, I bought a US xbox one as well, do you know if it will work if I buy a french power brick (220V) since my american power brick was damaged during transportation.

    I have not heard good things about converters so purchasing a power brick would be the suggested solution. You can order it from MS. You should contact customer support directly to get one of the power bricks. http://support.xbox.com/en-US/

    Yes the converter blew my power brick in 10 seconds, I contacted support and I am not able to order a EU one as my bank card address is different from my address overseas. They said there is no way around it. Id have to open a bank account over here. So
    am I *** or what? Any suggestions?

    Hi, if you want to use your US xbox in Singapore you will need to simply buy an external 220V power supply.

    All the xbox one are identical and the only difference is the the external brick for the different countries (the current that goes inside the console is the same, simply the external brick convert it from 220V or 110V depending on the country).

    Using directly a 220V power brick is even better than use a 110V power brick with an external converter from 220V to 110V

    All consoles are the same.It's the power brick that controls the amount of power that goes into the console.

    There are no 220v or 110v consoles.
