2020 and we still pay the "2013 Kinect Price" as games (like Formula 1) don't support voice...

My main gripe with the Xbox One is having to pay for kinect in the package. I've read all sorts of reasons for why people don't like Kinect. But for me the issue is I have a small room and the only thing Kinect could do for me is voice control. I don't value
voice control at a price that makes me think £429 represents value when between £70-£100 of that price is for something I cannot gain the maximum experience from. Whereas if you take the Kinect out suddenly the whole package is priced much more competitively
against its rival.

Why complain about the Xbox One price when we don't know the official price of the PS4, Remember you are paying for the console and the Kinect combined that will boost up the price, imagine if they didn't include the kinect it would be around £300- £400
or something like that

I don't know about everyone else, but I am not interested in playing Kinect games. The reason I keep my Kinect plugged-in is for navigating the UI, "Xbox, record that", BF4 voice commands and lean feature. I would pay the full
retail price of the Kinect just for those features alone.

You are still paying for it... .with hardware price and taking away resources for gaming. It's like support a 8-track player, sure you don't have to use, by why pay for it with money, time and resources?

@klokkwork i can't help but notice that you seem to keep the price issue out of your post do you work for msft, also the kinect has no games worth playing and voice controls don't always work and the controls for games don't always work like for fighter
within or so i've heard it is still clunky, i like the idea for health and research purposes but shoving it down the throats of their customers(us) no they should sell the rights of kinect to medical researchers and spend the money for games and games studios
