2017 Spring Update Messages arrive delayed and without notification.

After applying the 2017 Spring Update on the Xbox One, messages tend to arrive delayed (sometimes hours) and there's no notification for them.

If I go to the Xbox Guide over the Xbox button, the message icons gets updated with the number of new messages after some seconds, but no notification popup …

Spring 2017 Update

I'm sure there are a few cool things with the new dashboard update but I personally don't like it. It would be nice if I could reassign my home button to take me back to the home page. I can reassign all the other buttons. Why not the home button? Now
I have to press the home button, scroll to home & press A. This is supposed to be faster? Stupid!

Can't receive Social Notifications But can send out.

Nope...Still the same, I can send them and they popup, but when I receive messages the arrive without word and game invites don't even show up in the notification tab of the snap box.

I'm sorry to see any issues with delayed messages. If you haven't already, I suggest changing your

notification settings for messages, performing a power cycle by holding the power button for 8-10 seconds, and then changing them back. This should refresh all the settings for notifications.

If anyone really knew anything substantial they would be shouting it from the rooftops. It will arrive when it arrives, but, Mags is probably right. Spring, maybe late spring.

So (just so we're clear), you're saying that you have notifications for Skype in the Notifications app, but that you didn't see a toast for them when they arrived? And you weren't running Skype at the time the messages arrived?

I've been connected to the internet, signed in with my regular password, and rebooted my system several times and it still signs me right out after turning it back on via controller from sleep mode and logging in. It only happens after I've played for awhile,
then log out, turn the console off, come back a couple of hours later, turn the console back on via the controller, log back in, the console "logs me back out with a bye message", and i log back in again with no more problems.

Why do I still have to do that? Been happening since the last update.
