2016 users have posted about white screen instead of adverts

Been happening for 3 days now. Frozen white screen instead of advert. Microsoft please resolve.

haha u might want to play the game instead of using wikipedia as your source...the dates are right on the screen while u play...mw2 ended august 17th 2016, mw3 picks up from that and finishes on january 21, 2017 which is about 6 months and plenty of time
to get the white house repaired on the outside

I found this post from someone else -

First go to "settings" (the settings on your main computer not solitaire game settings) and select "apps"

under "apps and features" find the Microsoft Solitaire Collection app and click on it

you will see "Advanced Options" in blue, click on that link

you will then see the "Reset" and click on it.

When you first go back to the game it will ask something about using this PC previously, just select yes

I didn't lose any information on previous games...

It worked for me.

In some ways I am glad to see this post - and many others. The fault is a generic one not mine for I have the same symptoms.

My Other Half has started to have problems too on Solitaire, even when logged in the Challenges freeze on the white advert screen. This has only started in the last few days and he has no problems using the Mahjong Challenges.
