    RBI Baseball is a train wreck, a joke and should not be anywhere near a "next gen" console. I am a big fan of baseball and as much as 2K sports had some issues in the last year (13) release of the game, I really enjoyed playing it and wish to see either
    them or someone build upon that and iron out the imperfections. I would prefer EA not do it because EA has done nothing but attempt to monetize everything about their barfed out copy/paste games. Want the American League that will be $9.99.

    In all seriousness I would at least like to see MLB 2K13 on the backwards compatible list soon if there is not a quality baseball sim on the horizon.

    Its kind of funny Microsoft does not offer a baseball simulator since every article i read claims the xbox one is for "sports gamers" RBI is a joke, and it could be free and noone would want it. Microsoft you're literally losing 70% of PS4 gamers because
    there is not a "decent" simulator. I understand there was a lack of sales for 2k, but there was to many glitches throughout that series. EA had MVP which was lightyears ahead of its time. I personally enjoyed HIGH HEAT 04 which Microsoft owns the rights to.
    Honestly, even if you do not sell a ton of the actual baseball game but having it increases sales of the xbox1 and cuts into Sony sales is it not a bonus? All in all, do some research and you'll see there is a lot of people looking for Microsoft to respond
    instead of quivering to Sony on this one.

    Will there be an MLB game on Xbox?

    There's RBI Baseball 2015... If you want a real baseball game though you're best off buying a PS4.

    2015 BaseBall.....

    Played another game last night. One of the runners ran the bases with his hands on his knees. The next inning the game got stuck AGAIN. Had to quit the game to get out of it. That's now 6 games, 4 had problems and 2 of 6 were stuck and I had to quit the
    game. There better be a BIG update !!! This might be the worst experience I've ever had with a video game.

    We do need a legitimate baseball simulator. RBI is a solid arcade style game, but not a legitimate game like MLB 2K

    ^^ Anyone can make a baseball game. You don't need any publishing rights to do so. It's when you want to use MLB teams/players that you need publishing rights. Having said that, 2K don't own these rights anymore as they let them expire.

    The 2K brand own third part publishing rights to baseball games. However, first party studios i.e. Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo all have the ability to publish their own baseball game. I'm with Sgtbigmike, the only reason I will wind up getting a PS4 is
    for the show because Microsoft doesn't publish any true baseball game.
