2014-02-03 Classic daily challenge

Same problem here started with the easy daily challenge on 3 Feb (other challenges worked) continued today when I tried the medium challenge. Requested info:

What version & build of Windows are you running? Ver 6.3 Build 9600

What is the make (who made it) & model (if you know it) of the device or devices you are using HP P6874

About how long ago did you start having this problem? 3 Feb

Have you noticed this problem happening on any other games? No

Describe your problem. Please explain what happens from the time you launch the game until the problem happens. Same as described above my others.

 

Same problem here in uk for both days and on two different computers.

As it is clearly worldwide I guess we'll all have to wait for working versions to be available and will have to wait for whoever sets the daily challenges to sort the problem and release repaired challenge files

 

Good news: today (Feb 5) all 3 challenges are working.

Bad news: the corrupted challenges from Feb 3 & 4 are still crashing the app. :-(

Hope they'll fix them soon, as I believe many players worldwide are keen to maintain their 100% records.

 

Yes, we are working on getting a fix for this ASAP. We don't want you to miss out on getting your gold medal!

As stated above, today 5 Feb all challenges are working. Still getting kicked out of some on 3 & 4 Fe,

 

Breaking news: Feb 6 the problem returns. This time its the 1-star Gold Tiles challenge that's corrupted & crashing the app. :-(

 

I too am having same problem. I'm on west coast. I play on a desktop HP computer. Running Windows 8 version 6.3 build 9600.

This started on Feb 2 and crashes only on the easy challenges. I have uninstalled and re-installed twice and still have problems. Error messages say it may be Microsoft.net problem. Who knows most of this is vudu to me anyway.

I love playing the daily challenges and have ACED everyone for the last six months until now. Hope someone comes up with a fix.

Ugh! So, here it's still Feb. 5th and tomorrow I can look forward to another challenge failing. Bah humbug! Was hoping this glitch would've been corrected by now. Today I smiled since all three challenges worked fine. Now it looks like the problem will
return tomorrow.

 

We are working hard to get this resolved ASAP.

 

An update. After 5 Feb with no problems, the problem returned on 6 Feb. This time it is affecting the Golden Tile easy challenge.

 

It's fixed now! The patch went out this morning. See this thread:

Patch worked for me even though it only showed 79% downloaded and then hung. Restarted and cleared the cache and all was good. Thank you team.
