$20 promotional credit expired!

I had $20 promotional credit that I got from Bing Rewards. It expired on Saturday. I had been saving it up to buy the Fallout 4 Season Pass. I thought I had until the 15th, but it turns out it expired on the 5th.

I've contacted Microsoft/Bing/Xbox on Twitter and in the chat support, and there's nothing they can do for me. It's only two days after, and I want to make a purchase with the credit which is a guaranteed sale for them. It's ridiculous that they can't
come up with $20 to fix this situation.

Any other thoughts about how I can get someone at Microsoft to help me out? This is really upsetting, and I'm going to give up on Xbox for gaming over this. It's making me wish I bought Fallout 4 on Steam instead.

I just noticed that my promotional credit was expired. I didn't realize there was an expiration date because my Xbox account is linked to an email address I don't often check.

Is there any way for me to get this credit back? It expired last month and I wanted to pre-order Sonic Mania...

Unfortunately if its expired there isnt a way to get it back.

In the future keep an eye on that page: https://account.microsoft.com/ . It shows on the left is any of your credit is going to expire.

So you can make sure to spend that money before it expired.

Unfortunately Rewards do have an expiration date and unless the person helping you is feeling very giving, you won't get any free credit to replace it. Sorry man! Make sure you look at the dates at billing.microsoft.com often.

 

There's nothing to fix.The credit had an expiry date & you missed it due to you not reading the date properly.

Why is it ridiculous that Microsoft wont give you more credit because you messed up?

No one is going to help you out other than to tell you to check the expiry dates on things more closely in the future.

 

It's ridiculous because there's an utter disrespect for customer loyalty here. I contacted them two days after it expired, with intent to use the credit to purchase a $50 game. The fact that they can't give me back $20 I earned to make a $50 purchase on
their system shows how little they care about us. They'd rather lose a customer than give me back my $20. That's a dumb marketing strategy.
