2 Year Contract $99 Xbox Locked

I have the 99$ xbox 2 year contract. My system was locked around 5 or 6 months ago when I forgot to update my credit card info. I have contacted them about 5 times to remedy this I have been told the "undergoing maintenance" thing several times as a reason
they cant restart the service. I also have several reference numbers and screen shots of them saying they will restart the 14.99 auto gold payments but it never happens. Then the last time I contacted them they tried to tell me it had been too long and they
wouldn't turn it back on. I explained that it had been so long because they refused to help me, she said she would escalate this and I would hear from them within 3 days. That was almost 3 weeks ago. Why after 10+ hours talking with support over all this
time can I not get you to take my money and give me a service? This has reached a point of complete ridiculousness, can someone please assist me with this.

This is true with a special going on that if you sign a 2 year contract to xbox live, then you will receive a coupon to buy the xbox for $99

$460 for a $299 Xbox w/ 2 years of live.

That's exactly why you're locked into the 2 year minimum contract. They're going to force you to stick it out for at least 2 years. To the customer, it looks like they're paying less because it's in small increments. But in actuality, you're paying a significant amount more. Just it's spread out over time so the average, unaware consumer will be clueless.

I did the entertainment for all contract my bank card was compromised and and I paid a year and a half of the 2 year contract now it is locked and written off and even though I tried to pay for the subscription they will not unlock it they are rip offs

If you've deleted your gamertag and formatted the hard drive then that's all you need to do. The only time it really becomes an issue is if you have one of the consoles that are on a contract ($99 for the console + the 2 year entertainment for all plan).

You need to return that system for a refund because YOU HAVE BEEN SCAMMED. The seller bought the Xbox 360 bundle for $99 and a contract which requires payment of $15 a month for 24 months. The seller had to have known this would happen
because when the console is purchased under one of those plans a contract has to be signed and the console is registered to the seller. If, at any point in those two years the contract is not current (aka you stop paying before the contract is up), the system
will be banned from Xbox Live.

That screen will only appear on a subsidized Xbox 360 system that was purchased on contract. During the 2 year contract term, the system needs to periodically connect to verify the contract status. If the contract is not current (aka you stop paying before
the contract is up), the system will be banned from Xbox Live.

Again, this is not a screen that will ever appear on a standalone Xbox 360 purchased at full retail. It will only appear on a subsidized system purchased under a contract.
