2 Xbox's in the home, random log out on one and login on the other

What I'm trying to say is that the my home xbox turns itself off or deactives when I put my second xbox on the internet to update the console and games, but to play the games offline on my second console I have to turn the my home xbox back on which takes
another one of the 5 limits, so at the moment I only have 2 of 5 left. Once I use all 5, my second xbox is stuck unuseable until the end of the year til the limit is reset back to 0. I don't really what to buy the games again that I owe on my account just
to use on my second console.

Does this make sense?

only 1 console can access your account at 1 time . its better to turn one off or log out b4 you login on the other.i have 3 only 1 is set as home my other 2 is just logged into my account.Usually when you login it usually update so log off one b4 you update

Hi Josh,

1) On your xbox set it as Home Xbox like you did.

2) Log in to your partner's xbox with your profile.

3) Install the games you want to share on that xbox.

4) Switch profiles to your partner's one and don't log yours out !!

5) Should be able to play the games.

No need to set both as Home xbox, only yours.

Keep in mind that when you login to your xbox, you will be logged out on your partner's one and after awhile the game will stop working there because you are logged out.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if Home Console (A) is logged in Account/Owner of game as soon as they login to (C) they are logged out of (A) and (B) no longer has access because Owner has logged out of Home console.

Does your BF have the other xbox set to auto login? I'm just curious because if he does sometimes having it set to auto login will automatically declare it the home xbox.

When you guys got the second xbox was he the first to log in to it? The first time you sign in to an Xbox One and save your password, that console becomes your home Xbox. I would go into the settings
and look to see which one is set as home and check if auto login is enabled or use the PC and/or have him go to xbox.com, login and click on his gamer pic and then click the link that says my microsoft account or use login.live.com to see which one is actually
set to "Home"

All you need to do is log in with the account that has gold, and set your Xbox as the home console for that account. Then any other account can login to that console, and gold will be shared. Here are the steps for setting up your console as home console
