2 Xbox’s in one house

Thanks for the reply. He has his own account but it seems to be tied to my account. When he is playing on his xbox one and i try to play my xbox series x it says only one at a time. I would like to be able to play him at Fortnite for instance but it wont
let me. I bought him a xbox pass but he seems to be connected to mine all the time. Im thinking of wiping the xbox one and setting up an adult account for it for him to use so i dont have this issue.

You just need to have him have an xbox account and then set up one of the xboxs as the Home xbox and your live account will always be signed in there so anyone that signs on can play your games on xbox live. Then you will manualy sign into the second xbox
so you can also play your games and use xbox live. If the game you are playing has season passes or expansions you may need to buy them for both accounts but base games always work.

You can have one console that is set to your home console, on which you can share all of your games. Now, depending on how many people are in your house, and how many play on each Xbox depends on how you can get around this.

If there is one console that you yourself use exclusively, then you can set the other console there as your home console and everybody else will be able to play your games on that other console. (You'll still be able to play local
multiplayer games on your console with other people) If however, multiple people use each console, then you'll need to buy the games twice.

like Smwutches said in order for her to play your games on the xbox that is not set as your home xbox your profile would have to be signed in at the same time as she is signed in.
