    2 Xboxes, Netflix, strict nat question.


    I am running a Comcast Gateway. One Xbox One is hooked up via wireless (it barely goes on Xbox live to play games/voice chat it just usually streams Hulu, Netflix, etc), the other ethernet, with a DMZ. Whenever the wireless Xbox uses Netflix, the Xbox on
    the ethernet nat goes strict. Any suggestions or help from the wired Xbox not going strict?

    Check to see if your NAT is strict.

    I had this earlier, but also had a strict NAT, only way I could get it off strict was to DMZ my Xbox One IP address on my router, UPNP is enabled but bugger knows why it wasn't doing its job.

    After DMZ'ing I done a full reboot of the Xbox One (tried the before doing the former, made no difference to the NAT) the NAT was Open again & I tried Netflix & it worked.

    If this is indeed the case & netflix doesn't work under a strict NAT setting, then at least we can let MS know.

    NAT open or is it Moderate or strict?

    Netflix has been running perfectly and fast on my end.

    I wonder if it's possible that you have a NAT problem. Your NAT should be set to 'Open' to be able to join games on Black Ops 2. Follow this link to check your NAT settings.

    It could be your NAT or wireless settings, if it's strict you may not be able to connect to most of the stuff so i'd suggest to check that through your system settings, you can also check it using you mw3 disc , it will show in the lobby what is your NAT
    type.. If your netflix works that means your internet is fine but like i said maybe your NAT is set to strict.
