    Hi,

    I have upgraded from an original Xbox one with my gamer tag on it to a new Xbox one series x. I stopped using my old Xbox and. New one works great with my gamer tag etc.

    I now want to use my old Xbox offline to play single play with dual controllers against mates.

    My games are all stored on an external hard drive on my series x.

    How can I use my old Xbox offline?

    If I take the external hard drive and plug it in to the old Xbox, will the games be able to play offline and will it mess anything up when I plug it back into my series x

    Need help as I do not want to ruin any online / saved hard drive stuff from my online gamer tag / series x

    But if I use the old Xbox (hard drive full). Can I log in with my gamer tag on the old Xbox and delete the hard drive then install only the games I want to play offline.

    Will that affect the new series x Xbox ( as I only have the one gamer tag).

    If deleted old games from old Xbox, when I log in to new Xbox, will they have been deleted from that Xbox as I don’t want to loose them as I play online on the new Xbox.

    I would recommend that you install the games on the internal hard drive so you don't have problems about saves and games updates, to be able to use games offline you only need to download the profile that purchased the games and make that Xbox your home Xbox

    Each Xbox can have independent games, one won't affect the other one and your profile can be in as many consoles as you need

    Console 2

    Accounr 1 (subscriber first child)

    Account.2 2md.child

    Account 1 makes console 2.thier home.console.

    Accoint 1-2 can use.console.2 offline or online as long as it's not an onlone onlu game

    Account 1 can use console 1 as long as they are signed into.xbox live online only

    Account 2 can also use console 1 but don't have access to content
