    We have 2 xbox One's. Our youngest son's Xbox was set up as the home Xbox when we bought our oldest son an xbox. The game pass which I believe includes Live worked all summer. Now my oldest son took his Xbox (NOT THE HOME) back to school with him. Now
    he can't get online and he also lost a game that he purchased and downloaded online. I am reading that they can share the live but not sure why it is not working for my oldest son. Does he now need to be the Home Xbox? and if I do that will it mess up my younger
    sons xbox. The younger son is the one that is online the most and his xbox is used more frequently which is why we made that the home xbox. Help!! I really don't want to buy another subscription and re-purchase a $50 game.

    Your younger son would need to sign into your older son's console and set it as his Home. Then he can sign out of that console and sign into his own console.

    So my younger son just needs to be logged into his xbox and then my older son needs to go to his settings and make his Xbox home? or does my younger son control all of this and he can make the switch here?

    If the subscription was purchased on the younger son's account, then he would need to make the console the older son uses his Home console in order to share the subscription. It won't effect anything for the younger son as long as he is signed into Live.

    As far as the game, if the older son bought it on his account it would be attached to his account and he should be able to download and play it on any console. If it's not showing on his account, it may have been purchased on the younger son's account.

    HELP THIS GRANDMA!!

    I forgot to mention, that ONE TV is not connected to cable. We just use it for the second xbox system for games only. Maybe this has something to do with it??



    We have 2 seperate live gold accounts, 2 seperate gamertags, 2 seperate systems and 2 seperate email accounts.
