2 xbox ones ?

If i have 2 consoles one for me and one for my daughter do i need 2 xbox live memberships? Consoles will be in the same house.

hi,

we have 2 xbox in the house and can play destiny just fine together in a party. We then both got advanced warfare and couldnt get into a game together. We can accept an invite from each other, but as soon as we look for a game, it throws one of us out of
the lobby. If we look for a game individually and find ourselves in the same lobby, it works fine.

We thought it was an issue with Advanced warfare, but we got Assassin's creed unity and Assassin's creed 4 black flag, and we have issues with both of them as well. Black flags has the same issue as Advanced warfare, but Unity has an issue that when inviting
the other player, it tells us that it was unable to join session.

We don't have issues accepting invites from other friends outside the house. We both checked our NAT in the settings, and both is OPEN. We also tried port forwarding and port triggering but it didn't change a thing. Oh and we also tried having one console
wired and the other wireless as well as both wired.

You can only sign into to one Xbox One or one Xbox 360 console at a time. If you try to sign in on a second console, you'll be asked whether you want to sign out from the first console. If you respond yes, your account will be immediately signed out of the
first Xbox One console.

You can be signed into to one Xbox One console and one Xbox 360 console at the same time. There are some apps that you can't use on different consoles at the same time. For example, Groove Music can only be used on one console at a time.

Yes, you will need two seperate gold memberships as they are attached to a single account.

 

A simpler thing, if possible, is to have at least one Xbox profile be Gold and have them on both consoles so that all Live profiles on that console could have equal Gold membership.

 

If you have a gold account, whatever X1 you make your "home" console will give anyone on that console gold access if you're signed in or not, and then if you log into a console that is not your "home" console, then that console will have gold access for
as long as you are singed into it. Make sense?

One only, I have the two console setup myself. Make your daughter's console your home console and you are good to go(assuming your gamer tag is the one with gold). If you buy any digital games you only need to buy those once and you can download it on both
consoles. As an add on to what zero said on your non home console when you sign in anyone playing on the console with you will also have access to gold as long as your are signed in.

 

This Home Gold sounds good. Wish Xbox 360 had this. I guess in some ways peps with only Xbox Live Free Accounts get looked down upon. Give her a Gold Account that way she is free to play multiplayer games when she wants and can also get the Games for Gold
monthly promo which Microsoft does. Plus Gold membership is mandatory for playing multiplayer and joining Xbox Live Parties for Xbox 360. Gold is fairly priced for what you get for it. In my country RRP for 12 months Gold is only NZ$79.95 but retailers sometimes
sell it for NZ$49 - bonus. Even a Sky TV Basic Subscription in NZ costs NZ$51/month. Xbox Live is richer than Sky TV and a heck of a lot cheaper too.

 

I am sure you could do this with the 360 also with digital games... it came with 2 licensees as well... I think one was for your name/account and the other was for the console itself but was not transferable with a "home console".. I am sure someone here
can clarify
