2 Xbox One's with one main account

So I have a main Xbox One in the living room. My account is main account which all games a purchased under. It is also the one with the Live subscription. Other accounts on the box are my wifes and my sons. We all have access to all the games and anything
for xb live as my account has that.

I have recently been wanting to get a second xbox one for my office in the basement. Will I be able to sign in on there and have access to any purchassed games and live content? And will the origanl xbox still function as it always has?

At his point the X might be a good thing to wait for.... You get the X the kids get the older unit!

 

Yes, you'll have access to all your games and dlc from your "office xbox" and your family will also have access to all your games and dlc from the "living room xbox".

I suggest that you always buy your games and stuff from the "living room xbox". The reason is because your family will only be able to access that content from the console it was purchased on.

If they want to use content on your "office xbox", then you'll need to be signed in on that console in order for them to be able to use it.

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that's how it works.

Black.. I do not think it matters where he buys it.. the rules for the X1 are slightly different from the 360.... his games follow his name and his home console... so he could buy a game at his friends house... and whom ever is on his home gold.. will get
it...

 

@ Bl4Ck no you can buy from any console. I have two xbox ones and does not matter which one I buy from. I redownload on either or and purchase on either or. On my home console I do not have to be signed in for anyone to play. On second console if my son
wants to play a game on it, my gamertag must be signed in for him to use any of my games.

 

not saying its legal, but now if you are going digital. You now have two copies of the game and paid only once....you figure the rest out....
