2 xbox ones same network games that work in party

Hi my wife and I have 2 xbox ones on the same network both with open NAT via upnp however we are struggling with many games to be able to be in a party and play together.

we can play COD advanced warfare no problems in the same party but this seems to be the only game that works. We have tried Sunset overdrive, Forza Horizon 2 and titanfall. With thsee games we can play at the same time no problems but when we try to get
in a party we get a server timeout message. Has anyone been able to play these games in a party when using 2 Xbox ones on the same network?

currently we are using wifi but I am wondering if these games would work if we were wired, I don't want to go out and buy a heap of Ethernet cable unless it is confirmed that these games work.

are there any other games that people can confirm working with 2 xbox ones on the same network?

Party chat not working, NAT is Open

We are having the same issue. We have 2 xbox ones in the same house. Open Nat with Dlink router and repeater. Can't play co-op games with each other and can't party chat with each other. Nothing wrong with my router because we play another game with party
chat on 2 different xbox 360s within the same house on the same network and everything works fine. These xbox ones are becoming really bad.

 

2 Xbox ones in same network - no chat

Was going to buy a !00.00 pare of XBOX One Headphones, but NOT now! Chat is BROKEN BROKEN BROKEN.

 

Sometimes the network acts up, tho no, don't know why your having probs. Try a hard reset on both consoles. My game party playing works. Clarify...are u using one liscence for a game using the home as 1 and the other as a guest? In any case, check ur network
speed...GL.

 

It strange, COD works perfectly but we are never able to join in the other games. We are using one licence as you mention. Are you able to play the other games I mentioned with 2 Xbox ones on the same network?

 

Sometimes, I would try a hard reset on both consoles...but ISP speed is pertinent to that...GL.

 

We did a hard reset on both xbox ones but it didn't fix the problem, COD worked perfectly as always but same issues with other games. Are your xbox ones connected via wifi or wired? We don't have great speed 12mb down 1 mb up. But that should be sufficient
as COD works.

 

Sometimes the router can be the issue. Eg, BT home hub, more than one Xbox on a network with that router is just an absolute nightmare.

 

Reset the router, unfortunately didn't fix the issue. Can you guys confirm that the above games do work with 2 Xbox ones on the same network? If so I'll first buy some Ethernet cables and if that still doesn't work I'll look at replacing the router.

It just seems so bizarre that we don't have any problems with COD.

Have you tried calling Xbox support see if they can suggest anything ?

I would have tried fh2 with my son on his Xbox but we've only got 1 copy and titanfall I deleted long time ago !

I've played those games with the wife running from the same connection so they definitely work.

I'm wired and my wife is wireless as well

We are with BT.

Did you have to do anything special to get it to work so you could be in the same party and game?

I wonder if it is because we are both on wifi maybe those games don't like 2 Xbox ones on wifi??

 

We was ok mate, didn't have to do anything and we were on occasions in the same party with a few friends from here from the forums either playing Titanfall, both Forza titles, COD and other games as well.

Are you with BT mate? if so I know you said you have reset router/hub but have you factory reset it? on the back of the Home Hubs you will see a tiny hole and it should say "reset" next to it, get a pen/pencil and hold it in until the lights go off and let
it resset, usually takes a few minutes.

This could be pointless if your not with BT.

Also, could be worth phoning your broadband provider, my daughter had issues with her Ipad losing signal, we phoned BT and they changed wireless channel and it solved the problem, could be worth a try.

 

We have just moved to Spain and this is the first time we have had 2 Xbox ones, we used to always play split screen so we're pretty excited to get a dual system set up unfortunately besides COD we can't get any thing to work. Our internet provider is Movistar.
