2 xbox ones, one wifi - can they both play online

Yes they can.

They will need to have separate accounts but you can get away with only one live account.

Not sure how the account is setup now but you should do some reading on the Xbox home console option. If there is only One live account set one console as the home console (defaulted to first console account logged in on) and anyone on that console gets
the benefits of the account. The person using the live account logs in on the second console and will have all the benefits of the live account.

Absolutely a resounding yes we have 4 xbox ones all versions except the all digital edition and we can all be online at the same time. So your sons will be able to game together online, the only thing that could affect things is how good your internet
connection is and whether you have any data cap.

Thanks for coming to the forums. There is a way you can have both be playing online at the same time. It is called home console sharing. The profile you purchase all the games and subscriptions on. You will add it to the new console and set that console
as the home console. So then all profiles on that console will be able to use the games and subscriptions. On the older console. The profile that is set as home on the other console will play on the older console. This will still allow them to access everything.

This way you will not need to purchase two gold memberships or two copies of games either.
