2 xbox ones on one router cant get both to open nat

Ok so im not very got with this tech stuff but i got two xbox1s that will sometimes have open nat on both but most of the time i dont. I have a basic technicolor modem/router combo from comcast. It has UPnP on it but it dont work that well idk if that can
go bad or what. I dont know if all the other stuff on my network is contributing to this i have like 7 smartphones and a Samsung smart tv.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance

2 xbox ones IPSec problem i do have open nat on both

I have 2 xbox ones both have a open nat and run fine but when I play titianfall I can not join with my other xbox but when I enable IPSec using a nat rule both xbox ones become strict nat but I can join the game on the second xbox one the game lags bad

My router is pfSense 2.1 please help my nat is open by using upnp

Cannot figure out how to get open NAT, tried everything

Need model of the modem , its not a router too is it ? (gateway maybe) anyway , hard enough getting open nat on one router let alone 2 ...I would start at the 1st box in the loop , the modem , plug the xbox straight in and make sure nat is open . If you
cant get open nat at box 1 no way to get it at box 2....then I would hook up the 1st router and check nat there ....and so on... and you cant do the port forward AND have Upnp enabled as that is conflicting instructions...

If using two Ones on the same router the only way to get an open or at least medium NAT is the use of UPnp. It's not possible to use portforwardings or portriggering.

Unfortunately there are some routers being problems with multiple console support via UPnp. Try at least to not use static IPs or IP reservation add this may cause problems on some routers.

@Bobmcfly247 A fully compatible router should allow an open NAT on both Xboxes not moderate. If you have a moderate Nat then you have a router with crap UPnP support.

On a good router your Xbox will open a different UPnP port rather than the standard one if it's already mapped to another device. This keeps the NAT open on both. On a bad router this will fail and you get a moderate or strict Nat.

The only way to get an open NAT on both xboxes at the same time is via UPnP.

Unfortunately a lot of routers including most Asus routers judging by the network hardware forums have poor UPnP support so the best you can get is open on one xbox and moderate on the other.

In this situation you would need to buy a new router that has confirmed multi-console support to get an open NAT on both xboxes at the same time.

Both of the 360 consoles are on a wifi (wireless) connection. Each one is connected to separate routers. All necessary ports are open and the NAT Type on my Xbox One is 'Open'. The Xbox one is connected to one of the routers with one of the 360's.
