  1. 2 Xbox One's on one network

Anyone actually have 2 Xbox ones with open Nat on the same network working yet? Just. Bought a 2nd Xbox one so 2 of us can play online at the same time on different tv's in the same lobby like I do with the 2 360s that I have, I'm currently using Verizon
fios MI424WR modem/router both 360s work with no modifications to the router and my first Xbox one with recommended port forwarding

Please help thanks in advanced, if you do not own 2 Xbox ones please don't waist my time and others with theories #nodisrespect

You need to switch off the portforwarding for your first one and use UPnp only. After that you will be able to play games together in the same lobby. Except CoD where is not possible to share the same game lobby due to the fact that CoD uses a special kind
    of network environment.

The only limitation that can occur is that some routers are not able to handle more than one gaming console at a time. But if it was working with two 360s it should also be possible with two Ones.

I'm not having two Ones but have configured the routers of two couples who both have two Ones each and is working there without problems. Except CoD as I said and on both networks and all ones with a moderate NAT.

  3. The whole reason I got 2 360s was for black ops and the whole reason I got 2 ones is for ghosts

So I have this router and have opened these Ports and have also opened an extra port 3075 for the other xbox like ROZILLA said.

So if I only need 3074 why does that site suggest opening all those other ones?

I'll see how this goes and come back

Because you need them, but with two one's in the same network they have to be managed by UPnp. If you only have one One and experience problems it's definitely one of the first troubleshooting steps to have them forwarded or to move your One into the DMZ
to sort this out add they are needed.

  6. I have Fios with the older actionTec router. I have two consoles in the house. The only way I got it to work was use a second router inside a DMZ. I totally unrestricted the second router inside the DMZ. Both boxes connect to the second router and have
open NATs and all services available. Since the second router is totally open only connect xboxes and nothing else.

I have 2 ones and a 360 all open nat. I don't use a consumer class router though. I am sure some consumer class routers can do more then one Xbox but I don't think its a feature that is advertised it's more about the hardware under the hood. UNPNP should
work for all of them. But what you could try is first reserving the IPs to the MAC addresses then putting one in the DMZ and the other leave it alone. That may work for older routers that don't support UNPNP for 2 consoles. Or you could forward ports to one
and put the other in the DMZ as well. I would not recommend getting cheap no name network equipment either when your buying two media hogs like Xbox your going to need a real processor in your router. I have a huge network and I have juniper for my firewall
and router and Cisco for my switches. Cisco is just easier and cheaper then juniper but juniper is the best thing since sliced bread in networking and so I use it for my firewall and router. It has a 8 core processor in that bad boy has no problems with traffic.
I also have IDP running on it and still have 3 xboxes running with open nat.

Having a router behind a router is a little much it make sense of you can only put one IP in the DMZ but then you have to also configure the other router and just keep it wide open. That would work as well. While it does seem like a rig job I appreciate
your ingenuity. In a jam trying to get it working I am sure that was an idea and it has worked since. I like it. Also I think Verizon requires you to use their router because I believe they use MoCA and so you have to use it. So that may have been another
    factor.

  9. Hello, so Verizon sent me there new router quantum gateway, I have 2 Xbox ones. Upnp is enabled and I have both xbox ones set to static ip. I have one xbox in dmz and the other xbox has all the ports forwarded udp 88, 3074, 53, 500, 3544, 4500, tcp 3074,
53, 80. Both Xbox ones in settings / network show nat type open but in call of duty advanced warfare multiplayer/ xboxlive screen. what ever Xbox one turns on first says nat type open and the other says moderate. Hopefully someone here can help cause I can't
find any information anywhere and Verizon technical support has no clue

    Thanks in advanced

Call of Duty needs port 3076 to be forwarded but as you are using 2 Xboxes you will have a problem as you can't forward the same port to two different devices at the same time. You need to use UPnP to get open NATs on both but some maybe most routers have
crap UPnP support which causes moderate or strict nat issues.

You could try forwarding port 3076 to one of the Xboxes and then hope the other one will open a different port via UPnP but it's unlikely to work.

2 xbox ones on one network issues

Do both xboxes have open NATs?

Also i've seen mentioned that activision games wont allow 2 people on 2 different consoles in the same house to party up due to both having the same public IP address even with open NATs although i'm not sure how true this is so you would need someone else
who knows for sure to confirm this.

Network download issues from xbox servers

Network setup is hardwired from a network hub to a Nighthawk router to a cable modem. ISP is Cable One with 150 down and 5 up. There is 2 xbox ones and 2 xbox 360s on network. Both xbox ones have the same issue. Also I have hardwired my personal xbox one
directly to cable modem with the same result. Contacted Cable One support and they have stated there is nothing wrong on their end.

Why can't I play offline anymore!!

Here is a support article that explains what the requirements are to play your xbox one offline.

    Play Xbox One games offline

Basically there has to be 2 requirements.

    1. Xbox has to be your profiles Home Xbox.

    2. Your Xbox network has to be in offline mode.

Hey CreepyKat1965! My apologies for misunderstanding, you can have a separate controller for each console as well. The controllers will stay connected to whichever console you pair them to using the above steps and can be moved around as needed. If you have
any other issues, please post back!
