2 xbox ones in the house

So me and my wife game and I already know about game sharing in a sense. I bought her an xbox one s and it should be arriving shortly. So if I set home to her xbox she can play all the games I have purchased and I can just log into my xbox and play my games.
Now the new one is going in the bedroom and the other is in our living room. As it stands now her and my account are on the living room xbox. So my question is say she doesn't feel like gaming upstairs and I'm not using my xbox can she still sign into our
old Xbox and use her gamer tag and play games I've purchased or because I set the other as home now only my gamer tag can play them?

XB1 Game & Gold Sharing - how does it work?

You would need 1 individual gold account for every 2 Xbox Ones in your house. Anybody on the designated Home console has gold benefits. The actual gold account has gold on any Xbox Ones they log into.

Since the bedroom console would be set as your Home, she would not be able to access the games on the other console unless your account is signed in.

like Smwutches said in order for her to play your games on the xbox that is not set as your home xbox your profile would have to be signed in at the same time as she is signed in.

Thanks for the reply. He has his own account but it seems to be tied to my account. When he is playing on his xbox one and i try to play my xbox series x it says only one at a time. I would like to be able to play him at Fortnite for instance but it wont
let me. I bought him a xbox pass but he seems to be connected to mine all the time. Im thinking of wiping the xbox one and setting up an adult account for it for him to use so i dont have this issue.

You just need to have him have an xbox account and then set up one of the xboxs as the Home xbox and your live account will always be signed in there so anyone that signs on can play your games on xbox live. Then you will manualy sign into the second xbox
so you can also play your games and use xbox live. If the game you are playing has season passes or expansions you may need to buy them for both accounts but base games always work.

Hello there.

You can have one console that is set to your home console, on which you can share all of your games. Now, depending on how many people are in your house, and how many play on each Xbox depends on how you can get around this.

If there is one console that you yourself use exclusively, then you can set the other console there as your home console and everybody else will be able to play your games on that other console. (You'll still be able to play local
multiplayer games on your console with other people) If however, multiple people use each console, then you'll need to buy the games twice.
