2 Xbox Ones in 1 house - clarification please!

Here is our setup - Xbox one in son's room, new Xbox one in family room. I have an adult, kids and grandparents are setup with child accounts. I have an Xbox live gold subscription, but have never really used it and consequently have questions as to how
this is going to work now that there are two xboxes (stupid to pay for it and not use it but there you go).

The Xbox that gets used the most is in my sons's room and is our home Xbox. We mostly will use the new Xbox to watch movies and play games when cousins are visiting. I started to download a game to the new Xbox, then got to thinking that maybe that wasn't
a smart thing to do since it was setup as the home Xbox.

So, I guess I need clarification on how digital downloads work with the gold membership. If I buy and download a game to the home Xbox with my adult account that has the gold subscription, does that mean that if I'm signed in to the other Xbox, other people
signed in to that Xbox can play too?

If I buy and download a game on the non-home Xbox, will that game show up in my account on the home Xbox? Or will it only be available on the non-home Xbox?

I really just want a straight yes or no to both questions if possible. I know some games make you buy a license for each person - avoiding those. I just want to use my membership to play with my son in his room and with the family in the family room and
now have to buy multiple copies.....cds were so much easier

XB1 Game & Gold Sharing - how does it work?

You would need 1 individual gold account for every 2 Xbox Ones in your house. Anybody on the designated Home console has gold benefits. The actual gold account has gold on any Xbox Ones they log into.

like Smwutches said in order for her to play your games on the xbox that is not set as your home xbox your profile would have to be signed in at the same time as she is signed in.
