2 xbox ones cant connect together

In the past couple of weeks me and my son have had problems connecting to the same fire team on destiny we can play independently but not together.

Heres our setup:

UK

Virgin media super hub in modem only mode

Draytec Vigor 2830n Router

2 xbox ones on ethernet

Tryed setting open ports recommended

UPnP enabled

NAT is now moderate (behind firewall or not connected) ??

The UPnP setting on my router has extra options, Enable connection control service and Enable connection status service ???

Also if we both join another fireteam one of us will be kicked after a few minutes

Can anyone shed any light on this matter

I haven't herd of that router but it sounds like your xboxs are fighting over ports , that means that router isn't very good at UPNP , you may try a factory reset on your router since you cant do the port forwarding AND UPNP at the same time (may be confusing
the router) but imo you need a gaming router that is multiple console friendly , (Netgear is very good at this imo)

 

ok you obviously dont know what a good router is if you havent heard of draytek look it up. And never recommend netgear unless its a corporate version and even then there not that good.

But on the other hand your answer is not far wrong. you cant port for multiple boxes it causes conflicts.

If your router can cope just UPNP on its own will do, if you get random problems with both boxes on you need a faster router.

Use whatever you want , when it comes to xboxs I have personally fixed many MANY connection problems with mine , my friends and my sons friends simply by switching to netgear routers I'm a "whatever works " guy and when it comes to xbox , netgear works when
others cant , wont or don't....
