    Unable to connect to Xbox live from Windows 8.1

    I also have the exact same issue. Tried all different solutions, including all the ones suggested here. reboot, reset, (both PC and Xbox). Got on the account and reset it as well. Nothing seems to work

    Xbox wont let me go to home screen

    I turn my xbox one on and it sends my right to the store. I can't go to the home screen and I cant log in. I've tried the cold reboot and turning it on and off a bunch as well. It just allows me into the story nothing else, please help!

    Thanks for the reply.

    I have 2 option to add account in settings.



    -Other users - add user

    -Family - add user



    I created the user (account for xbox) in both but nothing changes.



    I tried to change the login account on the microsoft store as suggested by the xbox help center, I open the microsoft store, log out and when I click "sign in" a quick flash appears (looks like a window that closes in a nano second) and it doesn't happen nothing.



    To reset the Microsoft Store I have to go to app-select microsoft store-advanced options-reset. In this way the Store is logged in again with my windows account

    Have you tried doing a soft factory reset? This allows you to reset your console but keep your games and apps installed.

    Not for nothing, did you read my post? I've tried soft to hard reboots. It only seems to work somewhat normal after a hard reboot, but doesn't last. I tried both keeping and deleting all games and apps. I'm about to the point where I'm going to reboot from
    a flash drive and see if that works.
