2 xbox ones and tryin 2 use live on both

I have an xbox one and my son has one in his room. I just got xbox live. How do I use live at the same time he uses live in his room? Is there a way?

please help ive tried everything

both got them open.plus he can chat in party mode with other people and so can i but not 2 eachother.the game we are tryin to invite eachother to is modern warfare 2.

So that I'm clear on the situation, it sounds like you just got Xbox Live Gold on your account and want to see if your son can use it on his console, too. Am I correct here?

If so, you'll want to set his console as your Home console. This will share your Gold and games on his console without you needing to be signed in. On your console, you will still be able to sign in and access Gold without any issues.

If I am misreading the situation, though, please let me know! I'm happy to get you pointed in the right direction if needed.

yeah it was from xbox support through the chat. im just tryin to hurry up and get the problem resolved beacuse my xbox live account is about to run out in about 2 weeks

You can use one subscription on both console inside the same house, set as Xbox home of the profile that own the subscription, the console used by the other user, and use the other console online with the profile that have the subscription active.

I wish 1 xbox live gold subscription would allow 2 family members with their own gamertags to use any xbox ONE console, any time (I can dream, right?)

so, if we have 2 xbox ONE consoles, and 2 xbox live users with their own gamertags......and we want them to be able to use either console to play xbox live (either at the same time or not, in the same game, or in their own game)-------we will need 2 xbox
gold subscriptions with each gamertag being a primary account so that they both can use either console interchangeably.

someone please correct me if I am wrong!
