2 Xbox Ones - 2 user accounts with Game Pass Ultimate - 'Home XBOX' and sharing questions

I went ahead and pulled the trigger with the trial for Game Pass Ultimate for $1 for the first three months, and yes, everyone gets the Gold and Game Pass games, but not the digital purchases from my main account.

OK.... that does stink. They work while my main account is signed in as you said and I figured, but I really wish they would allow that. Even if I needed to add the GTs all to family or something.

But, I can live with that on my second console since it won't actually be the primary at least right now and I will never be logged in an playing on both, so I don't think there will be an issue on the new one. I can just sign in and anyone else should be able to also use my purchases.

Now to figure out if the game saves will work across the two devices in this scenario.

Any thoughts if they will just sync up?

As long as you (or anyone else) is signed into the same account when playing, the saves will sync up since they're stored on the cloud.

Yes, you can create/add a second account with Game Pass Ultimate on the second console and have it set that console as it's Home and everyone will have access to gold/games on both consoles. The only thing that won't work on both are any games you purchased on your account that aren't included in Game Pass. They would only be able to access those games on your Home console unless you are signed in.

If you are trying to share your Game Pass Ultimate subscription on the Xbox console then you can use the Home Xbox feature to do that.

Here is how to designate the console as your preferred Home Xbox:



1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

2. Select System > Settings > General > Personalization, and then select My home Xbox.



Select Make this my home Xbox to designate the console as your home Xbox.

If you are trying to share your Game Pass Ultimate subscription on PC please sign in the account that owns the subscription on the Microsoft Store App and the account that you want to share the Game Pass games on the Xbox app.

Game Pass Ultimate can be shared at the sime time on 2 devices (2 Xbox, 2 PCs, one of each). So for 3 devices playing at the same time, you'd need a second Game Pass Ultimate Account.

Game Pass Ultimate also includes Xbox Live Gold. So if you would have 2 Game Pass Ultimate to play on 3 devices (or even 4) at the same time, you would need only one Xbox Live Gold subscription on the account that will play on the device that will not be connected to Game Pass Ultimate.
