The issue is I have 2 xbox- One. My son bought one so he can play online with his brother. I have Gold and game pass under account. The kids are under me. The last time I had an issue, I had to tell
Xbox I am under Xbox home. That works on the 1 console. But not on the other console. When I try to do the home thing on Console #2. It deletes off of Console #1. What is weird - they were able to play together online with no problem on Tuesday. This selection
of a home means the other Console can't go online. This is an issue. The ONLY reason why my son bought was to play online. And Apparently if you keep switching "Home Xbox" it will lock out?

Hypothetically speaking, let's say a friend of mine comes over and logs in to his XBL account from my Xbox One. Since he doesn't already have an Xbox One but plans to get one in a couple weeks, would that set my console as his home console? So when he buys
his, goes home and buys a game, would I be able to download it?

As others have suggested delete the games from your living room xbox and set up parental control then use your same account on the new xbox so you can access all your games
