    Sorry, bits and pieces of this have been answered in other threads but i am still having a problem getting my scenario to work. Can anyone help?

    Hardware and Where:

    Apartment #1 - Xbox One S (with disc)

    My son is logged in under my the main MS email and has a gamer tag

    His settings are set to HOME xbox

    His Xbox has the live subscription and both digital and disc games

    Apartment #2 - Xbox ONE S (digital only) purchased today

    I am logged with a second MS email and a new gamer tag (but can swap profiles)

    it is not set as HOME xbox

    I cannot seem to access games or the live subscription on my unit. Could this be because it is not on the same wifi / router?

    Obviously, when we log in under the same account we kick each other off.

    Am i somehow missing a key step so that i can access all of his / our games + live and in a perfect world play games online with and against him?

    Call of Duty MW has been trying to connect to LIVE for about an hour!

    You need to log in with the account that was used to purchase the gold subscription, and the digital games on your console, and set it up as the home console. Then you should be able to play using your account without having to log in with the account that
    has the gold subscription. More info on the home Xbox setting can be found here.

    https://beta.support.xbox.com/help/hardware-network/console/my-home-xbox     Your son will still be able to log in on his Xbox and play the games, so long as he is logged into Xbox Live at all times.

    Sorry to hear and more sorry to say, but u can have game bound to only one account, therefore if you want to play the same game on the second account you need to purchase it on that AC as well.
