2 XBOX one home game sharing?

Hey there, so I’ve seen and heard about making an xbox your home xbox to be able to share your xbox gold and your games with the other person. So my husband and I have been doing this as we are both gamers, but i just bought him another xbox to be able
to play Destiny 2 at the same time as me. The original, or first XBOX is using his gamertag making it his home xbox, so I’m sharing his gold and the games already. But we also want him to have his own XBOX so that we can play at the same time. Do we need to
do anything different or special in order to download his already digital downloaded destiny 2 to his new XBOX? Or can we just automatically sign in under his profile on the new one and freely be able to download the game?

So can the two accounts share all games? Or just one account can share its games with the other? I understand that the games are account bound

both accounts can share their games/subscriptions.

for example: account A plays on Xbox 1 and makes Xbox 2 their Home Xbox

account B plays on Xbox 2 and makes Xbox 1 their Home Xbox

Should be like this

Xbox 1 your account, your xbox home your husband plays on this with his account. Your account does not need to be signed in.

Xbox 2 your husband account, your husbands home xbox you play on this with your account.

Any game bought on any xbox can be used on both.

Yup always a gamer since the age of 6. Started with Zelda and beat that. Moved up to Halo and been playing games for years. Thanks for the advice!

Both consoles need to have his gamertag but only one cane be home. If you want to play at the same time, sign in on the other xbox with your account and since its set to share gold and games you should just be able to download and update as you please.
