    I have been chatting with xbox live support for about 2 hours trying to figure out why a promotion keeps coming up on my console for $2 xbox live. We have reset, deleted account readded account and the promotion still sbows but when i go to join it says
    $9.99 a month. they suggested i post here to get some help.

    xbox live gold offer not working

    Hey LZG!

    So promotions such as this are sometimes for a limited time and if you miss the window for the promotion then you won't be able to get it. Also usually at the bottom of the page the promotion is on you can find the conditions for the promotion. For example
    the promotion may state One month of Xbox Live Gold for 2 $ but it is only available if the account has never had Xbox Live Gold in the past.

    EPIX Free Month of XBOX Live Gold

    IGN Free Month of XBOX Live Gold

    Both require you to have a credit card attached to your account.

    There are also a couple of dashboard deals that you can try out (they show up on your XBOX 360 Dashboard from time to time) $1 for 1 month or $2 for 2 months.
