    2 Xbox live accts.


    During some kind of security proof customer service gave me another xbox live account. The one they gave me or the 2nd acct. is linked to my windows live.com email address, but isn't tied to my xbox live acct. My original email address is from another ISP &
    is linked to my xbox live acct. I can access both of them on line here. But the second one or the additional one has a computerized generated gamertag & doesn't show my profile or anything. This causes me continual problems with Microsoft, who always thinks
    someone is trying to get away with something & I can't get them to clear it up. ==Another problem is Microsoft used my expired credit card after I gave them a new number, so they were double billing me for almost a yr. on 2 accounts. They promised to give
    me 2 yrs. free of Gold, however it is not showing up on my Gold membership. Any suggestions for either problem. Thank you.

    Ok, so if i move XBOX LIVE acct 1 from MS acct A to B, and then connect Xbox Live acct 2 to MS acct A, will that be ok? Ill have access to that balance and whatnot?

    if you are double billed this might be caused by having 2 accounts.

    if this is the case you have to make clear which gamertag is using which email for Login.

    you are here with topzkret, this gamertag has one specific email for Login, a different email for security Setup, and maybe a 3rd as contact email.

    depending on what you actually did, your security email or contact email CAN be used to create a completly new gamertag with a machine generated Name, this obviously happened here.

    so, if topzkret has Gold, check if the other account has Gold too.

    press the xbox-button on your Controller, sign out, then select download Profile, enter the email address which signs in your 2nd account. now you can check if this gamertag is Gold enabled with any online game, or by "purchase" the current game with Gold
    offer for free.

    does this work? then yes your double billing is explained, if no, then have xbox Support check your gamertags for your past payments.

    Sorry I wasn't clear. These are 2 separate issues. The double billing happened before the 2nd acct they created. The double billing stopped but I wasn't reimbursed as promised. Now for the 2nd gamer tag: It has no profile, acct. info or anything. It recently
    caused me problems when I purchased a new xbox and it showed that as my gamer tag - took me an hr. to figure out how to pull up on my xbox during installment. How do I get rid of that gamertag with interrupting anything? And how do I make my windows
    live.com email address to associate with verses my ISP email address, as this also causes problems? Thx Again for your time.

  6. Hey, topzkret! Sorry you don't have your Gold that was promised. Just to be sure, have you checked the email associated with this gamertag? The codes provided are sent through email, not applied directly to your account. If you don't have access to that
    email anymore, you will have to contact support again via phone or chat so that they might be able to provide the codes for you.

    email anymore, you will have to contact support again via phone or chat so that they might be able to provide the codes for you.
