2 xbox live accounts one xbox can't hear each other.

Hello,

My wife and I play xbox together all the time, so I went out and purchased her a xbox live account and an xbox one headset adapter as well head headphones. The problem is when we both have our headphones one we can't hear each other in person, but for some
reason the xbox mutes local voices (eg she can't hear me and I can't hear her) but we can still hear other people and they can hear both of us. My question: is there a setting to unmute each other? On the 360 we could choose to mute each other if it was
echo'ing or not mute each other, but on this system I can't find any option to make it where I can hear her..

Can't hear other Gold players connected to my xbox.

My sister and I both have different Gold accounts and use the same xbox. We have 2 Turtle Beach X12 headsets connected to the xbox and each of our controllers, but when we try to talk to each other (in a party/game chat) we cannot hear the others voice...
Xbox says we are talking and other people can hear us but we cannot hear each other. (also we don't have each other muted)

I just did this today with my offline partners profile which was on my own Gold account (360 )

You need to use a 24hr, 2 day, 7day pass and create an xbox live account for each of them, then port them across
