2 Xbox 360 1 Router = 1 open NAT and 1 Moderate NAT

Well like the title says I have two xbox 360 on one router that I'm trying to use at the same time and sometimes it works fine but sometimes one will disconnect.

My setup is a Motorola Surfboard SB6121 Modem and a Linksys AC1200+ router. There's not much info out on this router since it's fairly new. My internet speed is 50mbps.

I have tried port forwarding and I even removed the firewall hoping that would work but it didn't.

I'm willing to buy new hardware to make this easier, so I'll take suggestions on a new modem and router if this will make it easier.

Having same issue but I have 2 Xbox one online , 1 Xbox Nat I'd open and other is on moderate never had any issues when playing 2-3 Xbox 360 online all Nat where open so now why the one ?

does ethernet xbox one download faster?

Sort of on topic: Will ethernet open up the NAT? Just changed routers and my NAT is now moderate vs. open before.

My roommate and I have the same problem. When one is already online and the other signs in on his Xbox it boots the other one off of Live and they can't sign in until the other signs off. Our router is a Cisco DPC3825. I'm hoping someone has some advice
for us and OP. Thanks.

I'm having the same problem, but only with EA servers. I used to be able to play Mass Effect 3 online with my son while using a D-Link router. I can play other games online like Borderlands or Fable 2, but not any EA online games.

Probably nat issue, both of you are on moderate on strict NAT, 1 of you needs to open the NAT and you will be able to play.

Go to settings -> network settings -> test xbox live and multiplayer and tell us the results for example whats the NAT open moderate strict

We need to know the router model/manufacturer.

to it and it ran fine, DLINK seem to run ok for me and the NAT is usually OPEN, but it does occaisionaly give me a MODERATE NAT, but i think that is the XBL servers not requesting the OPEN status properly, not the router.
