I downloaded the Handsome collection for Borderlands 2 weeks ago but now it doesnt seem to work. everytime i start the game it says that if u have a disc put it in the console or buy the game from store when i already have the game.

Borderlands The Handsome Collection not working (error 0x803f8001)

Hello there,

I downloaded a few days ago Borderlands: The Handsome Collection for free. I wanted to start Borderlands 2 today but it is not working. Same thing with Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. I tried all the advices found on the internet and on the Xbox website, but
in vain. I get an error message that's 0x803f8001. Yes, I am connected to Xbox Live and Yes, it is my profile owning the game.

Any advices, please?

The borderlands collection was part of a "try for free" offer. Unfortunately once the event ended so did the ability to play the game for free. this weeks try for free event is the crew.

Can't wait for this week....I just downloaded Handsome Collection (Borderlands),TFTBL Episode 2,Life Is Strange Episode 2 and waiting on GoT Episode 3 to release in my area then all over that. Going to be a busy weekend
