2 week suspension

I was given a 2 week communication suspension for calling a friend a b*tch. I was playing a 3v3 with my 2 friends and another person and their 2 friends and the 3 people were already trash talking, harassing me and my 2 friends before we started. We did
trash talk each other the entire time playing but it was friendly. It was only until after they lost when they got pretty aggressive and then decided to report my friends and I, if the word b*tch falls outside of trash talk (which is dependent on who is being
talked to) then why does other profanities such as such my balls b*ch, you f*cking idiot, we f*cking raped you guys, not fall outside of trash talk? The people screamed multiple profanities such as those that I listed and many more. Yet nothing has happened
to these people. I just dont understand how I can get suspended for some trash talk these people were ok with it when they won but when they lost it became offensive threatening language.

I was around those forums during the pre Halo 2 days. Started in september or august. Loved those days. Ahh well, its all about this now.

I remember the old forums (back when the 360 was about to be launched). They were so much better back then.

 

It doesn't matter how a situation starts. If you respond in a way that violates the code of conduct, you can be punished. In situations like that, it's best to just report the other person and block communication with them instead of responding. As long
as you filed a complaint on them, the enforcement team will investigate and take action.

 

So suppressing victims into silence and letting the abuser get away with the wrongdoing is the best option?

 

Honestly, most of the time those people are doing it on purpose to get a rise out of you and get you banned. If you ignore them and report them to let the enforcement team do their job, then they don't win.

 

Even then they also were talking crap and we reportedthem too but bet they dident get a ban and they were saying worse things to us

 

There's really no way to no for sure whether or not they have been given some sort of enforcement. And if they haven't gotten suspended yet, it doesn't mean they won't.

 

so as I just said u believe it is best to ignore the problem instead of solving it by just ignoring the abuser which let's them gets away and hope that your report does something

 

It's either ignore them or you can continue to violate the rules you agreed to when you signed up an get yourself banned.
