2 week comms ban for saying ***....

Hi ,

I'm a 10 year xbox live user. Admittedly I do have 1 previous communication ban which I accept.

However, I recently received 2 week ban after I was messaged by somebody saying to me ' so gay ', I then replied saying '***'. I then received a 2 week communication ban.

I think this is absolutely absurd, so I get called gay and I reply using a word that isn't even a swear word and I get a ban! In fact the word is used in PG rated films and the true definition is actually a medical device. The xbox enforcement 'team' is beyond
a joke, after a number of emails and phone calls including the promise of somebody getting back to me about this I'm left to wait out this ridiculous ban for no reason at all.

Extremely disappointed in the xbox services as a whole. Has anybody else had something so stupid happen to them?

I got comm bans few days ago but 2 days after i got other bans saying that i have abused other people and stuff,but how is this possible since i still had comm bans? 1st u give me comm bans so i cant communicate with other people for 2 weeks and then u
give me account bans so i cant even go to xbox live with my acc and this is also 2 weeks long but ends 2 days after the comm bans (Sry for bad english)

 

Bans

Communication suspensions are temporary,24h hour,7 day or 14 days usually.

Never heard of anyone getting a permanent comms ban.They'll ban your account outright if you have to many comms suspensions.

As Genesis said though,account bans or suspensions are account linked so if you have a 2 weeks comms suspension that would be in place on al platforms.

 

right, so clearly microsoft/xbox feel the word [Mod Removed] is a swear word.... what on earth are you lot on..
