2 Versions of the same Xbox live account

Hey guys,

I've just a short question, but before my situation:

I started playing on my xbox 360, but when the ethernet port broke I didnt search for an usb wireless adapter >.< (the guarantee was also gone)

So today I started playing with my xbox one and I am still playing with my old account. So no Problems at all, but today I found out, that there are usb wireless adapter for the xbox 360

So I buyed one and now let me come to my question:

What happens when I connect my xbox 360 with the internet again? I played offline quite some time and now online with my one again. Might this "damage" my account? Or will they just ask me if I want to get the online or the offline version of my account?
Or will it merge my accounts?

I hope you can answer my question, because I wasn't able to find anything to this in the internet >.< (maybe I was just blind )

Beginner/Nub questions about Xbox Live...

What happens to a Gamertag that allows its Xbox Live subscription to run out, more specifically with regards to the name's availability to other users? (Like, is there a "grace period" where no one can use the name, to give the person time to get back on Xbox Live with that account?)

Is there some kind of rebate for a second Xbox Live account belonging to the same person / credit card?

If going that route (2 Xbox Live accounts on the same console), will there be anything associating the two in the eyes of the public?

Not able to connect to Xbox LIVE with Halo 2 only.

Used to play PC version of Halo 2 on PC before I bought XBOX 360 and XBOX version of Halo 2. Still have Halo 2 PC stats on my LIVE account. Thought if I could delete Halo 2 PC stats, I would be able to Play Halo 2 on Xbox LIVE. I have all the Halo games
on Xbox Live except Halo 2 and I feel I am being punished for past sins.

If it's the same account then nothing should happen. The only thing that might happen is if you have to redownload your account to the 360 before connecting to Live, you might lose some of the achievements you earned offline.

It is one account for all consoles..... With that being said, you will simply download your account and with your console being offline for so long you will likely have a series of updates. however these updates are irrelevant towards your account being
added.

You might notice that your Gamerscore is different between the xbox 360 and the xbox one only because they are obviously different servers.

The good thing that will happen is, all your offline progress will link to your cloud saved games so if the console goes bad you have all that offline progress backed up onto the cloud saved game features.

There is no possible way to merge 2 accounts. A GFWL account and an Xbox Live account are the same thing. Effectively, you have 2 "Window Live" accounts. This can not be changed.

1) Make sure you are both on the same version (if they play on the beta version, you should play on the beta too and vice versa).

2) I've heard that some people fixed this by making their game Open (or friends only) instead "Invites only". That way, when you click "Join" directly from the game or their Xbox Live account it should work.
